| Introduction | As a recent retiree I am finding a whole world out there I had only limited time for in the past. While I've always enjoyed travel, I had to go in the summer. Since I "graduated", I can travel after everyone else has gone home. Wow! Italy in September is fabulous! As a registered shoe addict (and yes, it is in the genes) I was in heaven. All those shoes and only two feet. Lord love those Italian designers. I'm in the wonderous position of being able to enjoy my daughter as an adult, just getting started in her life as a teacher. She's already way better at life than I was at her age. Am I proud? Of course! I have another best friend named Rico, who is the best sort if friend. My puppy is a Havanese who listens but does not tell, who gives love unconditionally, is always happy to see me. I am fortunate to still have living parents who I draw constant experience from. They have been married over 60 years! Can you imagine? I love a good adventure and new things and I am in the process of learning how to take care of "me" once in a while. A work in progress! |
