Introduction I am a Graduate of The University of Queensland,St Lucia, Australia, holding the Degrees of Bachelor of Arts (1974); Master of Social Science (1995); and Doctor of Philosophy (2005.) I teach Australian Politics and East Asian Politics at UQ, within the School of Political Science and International Studies. My area of special interest covers Japanese Politics and Japanese Foreign Policy. For the past four years (2008 - 2011), I have taught at UQ. I am also a Fellow of King's College, St Lucia, a Residential College for Men affilliated with The University of Queensland. This blog is for discussion about Japan's policies. Comments from those interested in Japan are invited. This blog is also concerned with American, Australian, European and Northeast Asian political matters, upon which comments are also invited.
