| Introduction | I lived away from Walla Walla, where I was born and raised, from high school until a few years ago. I hadn't visited often and have had to try to relearn the area. I have sometimes severe reactions to common chemicals and can go down like a disabled airplane. I'm trying to create a life where that doesn't happen and I can forget it may. It's a new patchwork life full of simple pleasures and very hard work. |

| Favorite books | I'm a silly sucker for romance novels. I know, I should be ashamed. Most of my non-fiction titles have to do with instructional topics (Solar Living Sourcebook, Art Fundamentals Theory and Practice, Why Men Love Bitches, etc.) A room full of cookbooks! My all-time favorite fiction author will probably always be Andrew Vachss. |
