About me

Introduction	Sumit Manwal is a hospitality mentor, consultant and author with 20+ years of experience across hotel education, Gulf operations and international hospitality recruitment. An alumnus of a Government Institute of Hotel Management, he has trained aspiring hoteliers, served as Training Manager in Qatar, where he built SOPs across six quick-service restaurant concepts, and headed marketing at a hotel-management college in Dehradun. Since founding Hospitality Vacancy in 2017, he has dedicated his work to helping Indian hospitality talent build global careers and helping hotels run to world-class standards. His contribution has been recognised with the Dainik Jagran inext Uttarakhand Ratan Samman for Excellence in Hospitality & Education, presented by Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari ji (2023), and the Excellence in Hospitality Sector of Uttarakhand award, presented by Education & Health Minister Shri Dhan Singh Rawat ji (January 2023).
