| Introduction | A little about me: I've been writing for as long as I can recall. The earliest original poem I still have was written in crayon when I was five... it was entitled, The Cockroach. (Yikes!) The themes I tackle in my poetry these days likely have fewer legs, though often retain an earthy feel. I'm mom to two adult sons, and speech-language pathologist working mainly in First Nations communities in Northern Manitoba. I spent the better part of twenty years with the Canadian Air Reserves, #402 Squadron Pipes and Drums, that being the reason for my online pen name of pipersfancy. |
