Introduction	NFL Football great Willie Whitehead Jr’s amazing success has earned him national recognition as a leading defensive end. He is a native of Tuskegee, AL and a 1994 graduate of Auburn University where he earned a bachelors degree in communications. Willie played professional football in both Canada (CFL) and the United States (NFL). Most recently he maintained a starting position with the New Orleans Saints where he played for 8 consecutive seasons, he retired in 2007. Known as a humanitarian and a businessman, Whiteheads’ scope of interest extends far beyond the football field. His vast appeal stems from his desire to be the best and a passionate work ethic, these characteristics earned him the NFL 2005 Ed Block Courage Award. Whitehead formed The Willie Whitehead Foundation to carry out the task of educating, empowering and motivating youth. He is committed to enhancing the lives of people, of all ages, worldwide through lessons in faith and perseverance, "The Whitehead Way". He enjoys speaking whenever the opportunity arises encouraging people to Live, Learn, Lead & Believe.
