Introduction Getting close to retirement age (whtaever retirement means) I have been writing and will have my first novel, Mississippi Cotton, published in 2011 by Wido Publishing. It's heavy on nostalgia (1951) and the setting is where my roots are: Mississippi. I've written a handful of short stories, mostly flash fiction, and an essay or two. All but one have been published online. One in a print publication will be published as a reprint online in November. I have another novel, The Tennessee Walls (not published yet) and am working on a third, A Mississippi Whisper. Reared in Jackson, Mississippi. Married in Louisiana and live in Houston, Texas. Went to Mississippi State, U. of Louisiana, U. of Houston undergarduate, graduate. Degrees in Math and Physics. 35 years in the Oil business in Houston
