Introduction	I'm a new Austinite from Orange County California. I moved to Texas to change up my life and step out of my comfort zone. I'm a moderate conservative that grew up in a little red surrounded by a big blue. This new idea of living in a little blue amongst a big red is an adventure I'm loving so far. I moved to challenge everything I believe in and broaden my horizon of life and people. Ronald Reagan, F.D.R., and every U.S. soldier that has ever served our country are my heros. My political views are in a transitional stage which is shocking to me because my entire life I have thought myself to be a strong conservative. As I get older I have found flaws in my beliefs and have begun to question them. As much as I agree with the right wing fiscally I cannot ignore the out dated ideas in the republican party. On the other side I agree with democrat reasonings but I believe they cannot work in the world we live in. Many liberal ideas could only work in a utopian society. I believe in the American dream of making something from nothing. This county was built on the idea of hard work and above all protecting liberty and freedom not only for ourselves but for those many generations away.
