| Introduction | Seán Dwyer is the author of numerous short stories, countless prose poems and an impressive number of essays. His recent work has appeared in no magazines, no anthologies and most recently premiered in a crumpled wad in the bottom drawer of his filing cabinet. His work has never appeared in the Atlantic and sure as hell has never been published by the New Yorker. Recently he was not nominated for the Pushcart prize, nor was he voted as one of, “The Best New Voices of 2011” or 2012 and 2013 isn’t looking so hot either. Seán Dwyer writes extensively from his basement where the light is dim, and the air heavy, but someday, soon, he hopes to buy a higher wattage bulb. Seán Dwyer holds an MFA from the University of Southern Maine and his work has appeared in Stonecoast Lines. |
