Introduction | My husband Marty (variously known as Ray or Bruce) is a carpenter. We are both retired. Between us we have eight children, six grandchildren and one great grandchild. They all live in either the Fairbanks area or the Seattle area. Marty spends a lot of time in his shop, which is divided into three rooms: a mechanics shop, a carpentry shop, and space for storage of his classic cars. I enjoy gardening and photography. One of my passions--or perhaps obsession is closer--is setting up my North Pole Village every Christmas. We both love hockey, both watching and playing. Marty still plays in the Oldtimers League here in Fairbanks, but I think my skates are hung up for good. Marty and I both enjoy traveling and we like to takel roadtrips, with the emphasis on the backroads. There is so much to see and do in the U.S. and Canada that I know we will never see it all, but we want to see as much of it as we can. |
Interests | Photography, travel, hockey, Christmas village, gardening, quilting, scrapbooking, reading, cooking, family. |
