| Introduction | My name is Paul Savins and I was born in 1964. I have lived, raised a family and worked at Cherry Dale Orchard since 1981. Cherrydale is situated in the Northern Tablelands, NSW, the region is known as the New England district. We are on the New England Highway 10kms south of Tenterfield near the popular landmark Bluff Rock. The orchard is 925metres above sea level with an average rainfall of 850mm. We market cherries through the Brisbane and Sydney markets as well as through our highway stall. We are open to the public in the months of November,December,Janruary and February, with December being our peak month for cherries. We have over 20 varieties of cherries with numerous Apricot,Nectarine,Peach and Plum varieties available as well. We are a small family orchard(perhaps a dinosaur, but here we are.) We take care and pride in the fruit we produce for you, I hope you enjoy these photos of around the orchard on these blog postings. |
