| Introduction | Hi, my name is Jared Boyd. I currently live in Tulsa, OK. I received my bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering in 2009. In 2015 I attended a local art show and was so inspired by some of the work I decided I wanted to try to create art myself. I started my journey painting in August 2015. I don't have a formal art education but I learn from other artists work as well as some very talented local Tulsa artists. Upon reading a book by daily painter Carol Marine, I decided to start daily painting. This was March 7, 2016. I know this will be difficult as I also hold a full-time job, but I am so eager to learn and share my work with others. I'm excited to connect with others on a similar journey. |
