Introduction I live in England in the town where John Bunyan penned his famous book Pilgrim's Progress - inspiration enough for any writer. I trained originally as a physiotherapist but as soon as I 'retired' to have my first baby I started writing and have been writing and publishing ever since. I have five adult children and 16 grandchildren to date. I work with writers in countries where Christian literature is thin on the ground through an organisation called Media Associates, and encourage and support women who have come to faith after marriage and are lone worshippers in their families.I also write for the relatives of people who have cancer. 24 books in all. See some of them on Amazon or my website www.marionstroud.com
Interests I'm a retired magistrate and find all things legal and criminal fascinating. I enjoy walking, especially by the sea, and going to the theatre. I love to travel and helping writers from the 'hard places of the world' write for their own culture. I'm heavily involved with my church and lead a cell group with my husband.
Favorite Music I enjoy classical music - especially Mozart which is supposed to be good for writers brains! Traditional jazz keeps me awake, and singers like Norah Jones are good for romantic nights in. Christian worship music, especialy with Stuart Townend is often on my CD player.
Favorite Books Where to start? I'm a Dick Francis fan for racing thrillers. Ellis Peters for Brother Cadfael and Lindsey Davis for romps through Rome.I'm also a fan of Sue Grafton's Kinsey Milhone. I love her 'sassy' outlook on life!

For your birthday, your aunt gave you a maple syrup dispenser shaped like a rooster. Please write her a thank-you note:

Thanks for the great gift Auntie. All our mugs have roosters on so this will fit in beautifully on our breakfst table
