Introduction	I have been a teacher for the past twenty years. During which most of my time has been spent teaching French to children in elementary schools in Canada and the U.S. I am currently teaching grade two French Immersion and our programme is Reggio inspired. The creation of this blog was really prompted by the concerns of my students’ parents and families who were requesting a way to connect to the language and culture that their children were learning in the classroom. I am fascinated by the way young children learn to speak, read and write and on most days I have a spectacularly good time doing what I do for a living. I was raised bilingually in Quebec and have spent the rest of my life studying and teaching French.
