| Introduction | I believe my children are my greatest work of art! Everything that I've learned in this 30 year journey has been to prepare me for my walk as a Mother. I love simple joys like when Eden, my 4 year old, finally figured out how to swing by herself--I was jumping up and down cheering as if I were at the Super Bowl; Or when Zander, my 2 year old, yodels (yes, you read correctly) when he's riding his toy horse and wearing his cowboy hat! They keep my feet planted firmly on the ground, and I find so much joy in being their rock solid constant. I find joy in creating music, channeling words into works, having visions of creative possibilities, and all the while, praising God for allowing me such tender, sensitive gifts. I find joy in getting to the heart of someone, especially someone who needs encouragement and uplifting. I find joy in speaking Truth where Truth needs to be spoken, and I find joy when I receive Truth that needs to be spoken to me. I find joy seeing the world through the eyes of my children. It brings me so much wonderment and continually answers my prayer to make my own faith like a child's. |
