Introduction	I got started in endurance just a few years ago with one of my friend's Gotland pony broodmares, Russ Haven's Red Willow (Willard the Wacky Mare). We completed a few LD rides before I retired her. Then I borrowed a horse bred for endurance and CTR. Totally hooked now and went shopping for my next horse, one that I will be able to do more serious distance riding with! Now I own two 2008 models, one an Akhal Teke x Arab that will be my endurance horse. I hope to do "real endurance" (i.e. 50+ mile rides) with him when he gets older.
