| Introduction | Even though I was never particularly good at chemistry, I have some aptitude for applied chemistry, such as beer and soap making. I also cannot for the life of me follow a recipe without taking some liberties. At least with beer, these liberties do not seem to compromise the end product, and I have only had a couple batches of those that I made since starting to brew in October of 2005 that did not make the grade. I had no idea you could make your own beer until stumbling across a post on some blog, and then I learned all I could about the subject. Within days I was at my local home brew store, which is surprising considering I don't really drink much! But I love to make, and this was another cool thing I could make! |
