| Introduction | Sandra Fischer taught high school English and owned a Christian bookstore in Indiana for several years. Much of her writing is devoted to stories of inspiration gleaned from her experiences growing up in the Midwest. She has been published in Guideposts, and in several anthologies. After retiring in 2001, Sandra lived in South Carolina for 15 years before relocating to Southern Pines, NC where she continues to write inspirational articles and create new stories. She is a platinum member of Faithwriters.com, where many of her stories appear. Her first book, "Seasons in the Garden", is a collection of prose and poetry articles written for the Dataw Garden Club in South Carolina. In 2021, she published “Every Day is Christmas,” beautifully illustrated by Becky Guinn, who created the watercolor images with her mechanical arm.
