| Introduction | I am an Anabaptist pastor and professor who enjoys the collision of teaching and preaching, of practice and theory in living out theological values. Teaching college students gives me great joy as I am privileged to assist in spiritual formation and theological investigation. Pastoring allows me the opportunity to invest in the lives of people and journey with them as they experience the joys and sorrows of life. To speak into their lives about the presence of God in both is a humbling reality. This blog is simply a venue to share my sermons with those who are interested. I received my BRS from Steinbach Bible College, my MA (Mdiv equivalent) from Providence Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry from PTS. As the Teacher in Ecclesiastes wrote, "There is nothing new under the sun." My sermons and talks are but a gathering of wisdom from commentators, other preachers, and of course the Word of God (yes, first and foremost). |
