| Introduction | Bill Cortese has advised elected officials, candidates, Fortune 500 companies, professional sports teams and non-profits on formulating effective communications and public affairs programs for the past decade. Bill has worked with corporations such as Walmart, Lockheed Martin, Public Service Enterprise Group (PSEG), Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield, Fresenius Medical Care, Genting and Verizon Communications on public affairs, lobbying, corporate communications, grassroots advocacy and public relations efforts. Bill’s accomplishments have been noted by the Hartford Business Journal, which named him one of their “Top 40 Under 40” leaders in Connecticut and by PolitickerNJ, which named him to their annual “Power List”—a list of the top business and political leaders in New Jersey. Bill sits on the advisory boards for Imed Center, an integrated medical center located in Connecticut and for the V.E.T.S. (Vocation, Education and Training for Service members) Program, which helps integrate veterans into the technology industry workforce. Bill is an Operation Enduring Freedom veteran–serving six years in the United States Marine Corps Reserve and attaining the rank of Corporal. |
