2007? Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine. Hitchhiked, ferried, bussed, flew from Bar Harbor, Maine to Nova Scotia, to Newfoundland, to Prince Edward Island, to New Brunswick, to Vancouver, to Edmonton, to YELLOWKNIFE!, to Banff, to Kelowna, to Seattle, to Portland, to San Francisco, then back home in Georgia!
2008? Hiked the Pacific Crest Trail. Hiked the 500 western miles of the Pacific Northwest Trail out to the sea. Inside Passage ferry from Bellingham, WA to Haines, AK. Crazy crazy, cold and wet hitchhiking trip 800 miles to Anchorage. Some fun 5k runs in the snow and slush of Anchorage. Some fun in Homer, Ak. Return to the dirty south for beautiful fall weather.
2009? Moved to Crested Butte, CO. In heaven. Training to run the Salida trail marathon. Fruita 50 miler. Then a 1,600 mileish bike tour thru beautiful Utah, looping back thru the San Juans and Crested Butte for wildflower season!
