| Introduction | Hi Everyone! My name is Laura Ellis and I am a high school Business teacher in a very small town in southeastern Oregon. I am a transplant form Portland and I have been teaching in Jordan Valley for about 25 years. As a single person, my life centers around my job It is a good thing that I enjoy it so much. Small town life is very different from Portland. The calm life of a small town with less than 500 people at times is very refreshing. Other times it is not too fun to drive 60 miles to purchase food or see a movie. In my free time I enjoy spending time with family. With no children of my own I enjoy butting into the lives of my nieces and nephews. They bring joy and laughter each day and remind me how special life really is. |
