Introduction I heard a story about a man who was panning for gold. All he found were small flecks and he was getting discouraged - he wanted big chunks of gold. He wanted to be rich. He ran into an older gentleman, also panning for gold, who had a pouch tied to his belt that looked full and heavy. The younger man asked the older where he had discovered the large amounts of gold that filled his pouch. The older man smiled and said that he had found all of his gold in the very stream. The younger man thought this was impossible as he had been working for hours, only to find small specks which he discarded in his search for larger pieces. As he related his frustration to the older man, the old-timer opened his bulging pouch to reveal millions of flecks of precious gold, a treasure worth much. I treasure my family, the feeling of our house becoming a home, and helping others. This treasure doesn't come in a huge lump, but in tiny tidbits, gathered over time.
