Introduction	Yan was raised in Taiwan and would probably have continued down the computer science path if she hadn't watched the Pixar movie "Monster Inc" in her second year of college. An inner voice spoke out, "Wow, that's so cool. I want to make something that makes people laugh... I don't want to do this coding..." From that point on, her life has always been involved with art. After completing her computer science degree, she realized that she can't ignore that inner voice of hers anymore. She packed up and headed to New York for The School of Visual Arts. Since she graduated in 2006, she has worked on various projects in TV, films, and games in New York.
