Introduction	I am an English woman living in a sleepy village in deepest rural france. I am married with 3 children aged 16, 12 and 11 yrs. We came to France in Aug 2005 to escape the English Rat Race and to have a better quality of life. The children are now speaking french and doing well in school. The French people have made us very welcome. We feel that we have achieved the life that we came here for, working less hours, having more family time and generally taking things a lot slower.
