| Introduction | As Senior Network and Systems Engineer at LEARN (Lanka Education and Research Network), I provide technical assistance across the NREN, covering federated identity (LIAF), eduroam, IAM, and infrastructure-as-a-service for member institutions nationwide. My core focus is federated identity infrastructure: designing, deploying, and troubleshooting Shibboleth-based IdPs, LDAP directory services, and SSO systems that universities and researchers rely on every day. I hold a BSc (Hons) in Computer Engineering from the University of Peradeniya,and am currently reading for an MSc in Cyber Security (Staffordshire University, UK, via APIIT). I actively engage with the regional network operator and REN community — APNIC, APAN, and LKNOG — and share what I learn along the way through my YouTube channel and blog, Blog It. I believe good infrastructure is invisible when it's working, and good knowledge is only valuable when it's shared.
