| Introduction | Welcome to my blog! My name is Teresa and I am glad that you stopped by. I am a Pastor's wife, a mother of six and grandmother of nine (with one sweet little boy already in Heaven)and another one on the way. We are a conservative Christian family and we love and serve the Lord Jesus Christ. My desire is to create a place where one can find a pleasant and safe place to read, find encouragement, and maybe enjoy a craft idea now and then. So, again, thanks for stopping by. | Interests | I love to craft, sew, sing, read, be with my family and spend time alone with the Lord. I enjoy writing devotions and poetry, and publish a small periodical for Christian young ladies called, "Jewels For His Crown", hence the name of the blog. |
| Favorite movies | The Sound of Music, Pilgrim's Progress (Journey to Heaven), God's and Generals, The Secrets of Jonathan Sperry, Time Changer. |
| Favorite music | The Primative Quartet, Doyle Lawson (Gospel), the more conservative Bluegrass Gospel. I also enjoy listening to orchestas, especially the cellos and violins (and kettle drums!). |
| Favorite books | Holy Bible (KJV), Evidence Not Seen by Darlene Deibler Rose, Once Blind by Kay Marshall Strum, Hind's Feet on High Places and Mountain of Spices by Hannah Hurnard, books by George MacDonald and Louisa May Alcott. My favorite devotion books are "Streams In The Desert", "Daily Light on the Daily Path" and "My Utmost For His Highest". |
