| Introduction | 食二糧創辦人-楊環靜曾是一個生活旅遊作家，她從下游端到上游端的生活體驗中，發現友善母雞飼養對環境保護、食品安全的重要，創辦食二糧，開啟從教育、生產到銷售的友雞生活計畫，建立食二糧友雞生活教育基地與母雞的學校，來引導消費端走入生產端，認識雞，了解雞蛋生產系統對食品安全與環境保護的影響，以及建構食二糧友雞生活蛋舖銷售友善飼養的雞蛋，並走入社區邀請老年人透過小雞舍，在自家或是閒置的空間裡飼養母雞，生產食二糧樂齡放牧雞蛋，提供好食，也為自己打造退休的健康好生活。 Ms. Huan-Ching YANG，Founder of ‘Hen and Traveler’ social Ms. Huan-Ching YANG had been a travel writer since 2008. She had travelled around the world and published few books on international gourmets, traditional market and working-holiday. Inspired by her experience of living with backyard chickens during her working-holiday in Australia, she began to realize the relationship between human and hens should not just be consumer and producer of food. Human should take better care of hens while they are alive, and have healthier eggs in return. Therefore she started a 'free the caged hens' campaign in year 2012, and began to promote the idea of animal welfare eggs in Taiwan. Huan-Ching firmly believes that human and chicken would have a brighter future living together, and she continues to promote her idea through public campaigns, social enterprise, educational events and urban chicken ever since. |
