| Introduction | I think that it must be a truism that as you get older you get less dogmatic; you have more questions than answers; you are less glib. Most of my time now is spent overseeing the work of FAITH Christian Group, variously running ReadiFood (Food Bank), looking after tenants and serving the street homeless and simply down if not out. I long to be travelling again and encouraging the church everywhere to be the salt and light they are called to be. ........ and let us not forget the poor. |
| Interests | Walking the Dog, rambling/Hillwalking, Music ( a broad church from Folk to Drum and Bass - anything really bar country and western or reggae, Photography (dreaming of a Canon 350D), T.V. ( I love The Bill and Eastenders ) / Cinema |
| Favorite movies | Saving Private Ryan; Harry Potter; Watchmen; The Matrix; Star Wars; Gladiator; and loads more Found Lord of the Rings tedious and overplayed. C S Lewis is far better! |
| Favorite music | Non-cheesy worship; any Folk/Rock (Fairport, Steeleye Span, Albion Band, CSN); Funk/Fusion/Jazz; R & B; |
| Favorite books | The greatest set of books ever put together is of course the Bible. Starting with Ephesians as probably my favourite. But getting into the concept of the Red Letters. Then it would be Hitchhikers Guide to the Universe of course! |
Why does the taste of pennies remind you of losing a tooth?
What? Doesn't it make you wish there was a decent intellectual blogsite which at least had some noteworthy quotes from thinking people.
