Introduction	Eastlake Elementary is located near the Oquirrh Mountains in the innovative Eastlake Village at Daybreak. The school is on a knoll overlooking the Salt Lake Valley and is east of a magnificent man-made lake complete with canoeing, fishing, and walking paths. The school is a unique two-story design with large windows in every classroom, collaboration kivas, beautiful media center, spacious gym with stage area, and computer lab with the latest technology. The school serves students from kindergarten to sixth grade and opened on August 25, 2008. To help assure each child’s success, Eastlake Elementary has three areas of focus: Literacy and Numeracy, Arts Integration, and Positive School Atmosphere. Eastlake parents are encouraged to be involved in school because “Together We Are More”.
