| Introduction | Luke and I met at Sam Houston State and have been together for 12 years now, married for 8. We built our own home in The Woodlands shortly after getting married. Within months of living there, we discovered we were pregnant. Then, three months later we found out we were having twins! Brooke & Caden were born at 28 weeks gestation (yikes!) Caden weighed 2 lbs 12 oz and Brooke weighed 2 lbs 5 oz. Two weeks after their birth, Brooke was diagnosed with Down Syndrome. Brooke & Caden are our miracle babies and we feel so blessed to be their parents! P.S. The chances of having twins one with DS, one without is 1 in 800,000! We were blessed with baby brother, Case in March 2012. |
