| Introduction | I first became involved with Bright Dawn Center of Oneness Buddhism in 2007. In 2010, I was inducted as a Buddhist Minister (Sensei) with Bright Dawn. Prior to this, I had felt a strong connection to Jodo Shinshu. However, a nonsectarian approach allows for personal spirituality without the black and white of sectarianism. My aspirations for this blog is to reach out to those "isolated" Buddhists not living near a temple or Sangha. I am available to perform Rites of Passage (Some of this can take place from a distance, such as Ti Sarana. Contact me for details.), give Dharma talks, Tatami Dedication Ceremony, and serve as a kalyanamitra. |
