| Introduction | I am Catriona McKeown, author of The Boy in the Hoodie. |
| Interests | I am, amongst other things, an obsessive writer. I love it. In theory I also enjoy scrapbooking, but given how far behind I am, clearly I don't prioritise it much! I enjoy photography, but am very amateurish. I love jig saw puzzles, but really bother with one under 1000 pieces, so I only do a couple of year.I enjoying reading, but get obsessed with books and nothing else gets done around the place whilst I'm in the middle of a good book, so again I limit myself! Each week I listen to a couple of sermons on line, shop, cook, wash the clothes, tidy the house, catch up with friends... Are these interests of just life. I guess in some ways, they're both; just some are more enjoyable than others. One thing I don't really limit myself in is watching movies. It probably my favorite way to relax. |
| Favorite movies | Persuasion, Pride and Prejudice - both the long and short versions, Emma (are you noticing a theme yet?), Mansfield Park, You've Got Mail, While You Were Sleeping, Wild Hogs, Kate and Leopold, Never Been Kissed, 50 First Dates, and my most recent addition to the favourites list is Knight and Day. |
| Favorite music | I looooove the music of Steven Curtis Chapman. I also enjoy U2, the odd bit of classic music, Sting and whatever my teenage girls are playing at the moment. |
| Favorite books | Mansfield Park, The Rosie Project, The Book Thief, Choosing To See, YA books such as The Hungers Games X3 and Divergent X2 (I didn't much like Allegiant) and Fault In Our Stars. Look me up on Goodreads (under Cate McKeown) and see what else I've loved reading. |
