| Introduction | Hi, I’m Yvona – author, poet, lover of nature and home cook. I review kids’ books at the MyReads page of www.yvonafast.com, and blog about writing for children at www.wonderwords100.com . I have published 3 poetry chapbooks and several books for adults. also write about food, have a cookbook: Garden Gourmet and have been writing North Country Kitchen for the Adirondack Daily Enterprise every week since 2001. My food-related articles have appeared in numerous magazines and newspapers from Massachusetts to California and New Zealand. I live in northern New York, where I can be found most often in my kitchen, helping in our family garden, or shopping at one of the many farmers' markets in the northern Adirondacks. I also love walking in the woods with my dogs, taking nature photos, writing poetry, swimming and paddling in summer, snowshoeing and cross country skiing in winter. I love to read, especially historical fiction and memoirs. |
