| Introduction | My name is Debbie Berkley. The most important thing in my life is that I'm a follower of Jesus Christ. I grew up Episcopalian and then married a Presbyterian pastor, my husband Jim. He is pastor of Mt. Pisgah Presbyterian Church in Roslyn, Washington. However, I work in the department of Worship and Music at First Presbyterian Church of Bellevue, and sing in the choir there, so I divide my time between the two churches. Jim and I have two adult children, Peter Berkley and Mary Shadley. Peter and his wife Sarah have a young daughter named Elliot. Mary's husband is Karson. I love languages, and I have a Ph.D. in linguistics from Northwestern University. I also like logic and math puzzles, especially "pic-a-pix" (see www.conceptispuzzles.com). |
