| Introduction | Some CYA legal-type stuff: First, I am a practicing patent examiner. That means that I can't give any specific advice about applying for a patent other than say that you should retain the services of an attorney registered to practice before the US Patent Office. Second, I am not acting as a representative of the Patent Office. Third, I'm not making any money off this blog, nor am I using my work computer to write it. While I do, of course, come across most of the patents I am writing about while at work, for the purposes of this blog all the patents are accessed via Google Patents. Fourth, while I can't really talk about the specifics of cases that I'm currently working on, patents issued off applications I've examined on are open to the public. I'll leave it to you to figure out how to find them if you wish. |
