| Introduction | I am a free lance journalist, children's book writer, and book & theater reviewer. I belong to Mystery Writers of America, Sisters In Crime, and the California Writers Club and write for their newsletters. I currently review books for Mystery Scene Magazine. I also have two blogs: "Here's How It Happened" which is mostly about books and authors but also includes a few miscellaneous topics. "Morning Meditations; Beginning the Day in God's Word" in which I talk about what I'm learning as I study the Bible each day. I am an Evangelical Christian and a right-wing conservative Republican. I am involved in various elder and children's ministries at my church, and have gone on several short-term mission trips to Africa. I enjoy being outdoors (gardening, walking/hiking, swimming at the YMCA), and paddle boarding or just walking at the beach. |
| Interests | Writing, reading mystery books, writing children's stories and flash fiction, travel, Bible study, gardening. |

When you open your eyes underwater, do you ever worry that you'll drown?
Never! It is the coolest, most serene, beautifully azure place to be. Now if only I could hold my breath longer!
