IntroductionI am a free lance journalist, children's book writer, and book & theater reviewer. I belong to Mystery Writers of America, Sisters In Crime, and the California Writers Club and write for their newsletters. I currently review books for Mystery Scene Magazine. I also have two blogs: "Here's How It Happened" which is mostly about books and authors but also includes a few miscellaneous topics. "Morning Meditations; Beginning the Day in God's Word" in which I talk about what I'm learning as I study the Bible each day. I am an Evangelical Christian and a right-wing conservative Republican. I am involved in various elder and children's ministries at my church, and have gone on several short-term mission trips to Africa. I enjoy being outdoors (gardening, walking/hiking, swimming at the YMCA), and paddle boarding or just walking at the beach.
InterestsWriting, reading mystery books, writing children's stories and flash fiction, travel, Bible study, gardening.

When you open your eyes underwater, do you ever worry that you'll drown?

Never! It is the coolest, most serene, beautifully azure place to be. Now if only I could hold my breath longer!
