Industry Education
Introduction I earned my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Washington State University and am a member of the American Psychological Association. Throughout college, I worked as a Youth and Family Counselor which inspired me to further my educational background dealing with children's needs. After obtaining my graduate degree, I worked as an Assistant Professor at the University of Delaware where I taught Developmental Psychology, a child psychology course which covered topics from conception through adolescence. After working at the University of Delaware, I served as a Staff Psychologist and Coordinator of Clinical Training at New York University’s Polytechnic Institute. Most recently, I was an Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of Alaska.
