| Introduction | I have been reading the Tarot, mostly for myself, since 1990 and am grateful for the wisdom of such teachers as Angeles Arrien, Rachel Pollack, and Mary Greer, along with many other authors in my personal library. For about seven years, I was part of a community here in Central Kentucky, learning about Native American spiritual practices and shamanism. I have First Nation (Northern Ontario, Canada) ancestry on my mother's side. From my father, I inherited British and Irish ancestry, so I've also been drawn to the study of Celtic stories and spirituality and have concentrated on that for the past few years. Though I still see myself first as a tarot reader, it is not my intention to write a "tarot blog". I'd like these postings to reflect my inner world and the sea of spiritual thought that I "swim" through on a daily basis. |
