About me

Introduction For most of my life I was an evangelical Christian and then, some time around 2007, I started to think that there must be more to the Christian life than I was experiencing. At the time I had a frequent thought that if we as Christians really believed what we say we believe, we would live very differently. But at the time I thought that this was an impossible task. Since the organized church wasn't providing any satisfying answers I started looking at what is considered the fringe of Christianity. It was there that I found an expansive, loving God that revitalized my spiritual life. I also discovered that my previous hunch was true, and that although difficult, it is not impossible to live differently. In fact it is what our vocation as Christians is. Although all this searching has actually produced even more questions, I am much more content with not knowing. I realize now that I didn't know as much as I thought I knew before, because God is bigger than I could possibly know. This blog is my journey towards God and the great unknowing.
