| Introduction | I love to write, I always have. I once took a job survey that is suppose to accurately tell you what jobs you are best suited for. The top 10 of 200 careers for me had to do with language. So this year, 2010, I told myself I was going to be a writer so here I go.
I'm from Haysi Virginia. I was born and raised in the Appalachian Mountains. I love home, its people, its ways, its culture. Home made me who I am. I'm not one bit ashamed of my accent or the beautiful culture I was raised in. When someone says "I just love your accent" I respond "why thank you honey, I've been working on it since I was a little girl." |
