Introduction	Hi, my name is Alaina, but friends call me Lainy. I am a self-taught artist who has drawn since I could scribble with a crayon. I have slowly been finding my footing in the future I dream of and discovering my vast passion for art and creation. For me, Art is about learning the soul of a man I’ll never meet by drawing every wrinkle his life gave him. It’s about going places I may never visit… or in many cases do not even exist. Art is growth and discovery. I’ve found my home in realism because of the challenge it is to capture true life in a drawing. The emotions, dreams and hopes of all people are etched in their faces, in their portraits. Perhaps, with a peek at my work, you can also learn a little of a strangers soul.
