| Introduction | I am a writer of contemporary fiction. I have a husband and two grown children and live in the Tidewater of Virginia. My husband says I write "gritty," which prompts my male friends to urge me to stop with the romance, write something gritty instead. My usual response: No matter how gritty I get, I have to have some component of a love story in there. I can't help myself...what else can you expect from someone who wanted to dress as Cinderella every Halloween? :-) |
