| Introduction | Hello, my name is Doreen and I live in Singapore. I'm a full-time homemaker. I left my managerial job in 2005. It wasn't an easy decision to make then. However,I told myself that I want to be there for my children all the time, watching them grow everyday. I also want to have the loving memory of the precious time I had with them especially when I grow old. I do not want to have any regret when they start to grow bigger and gone off to live their own lives. Since I turned a homemaker, I have experienced many things, which otherwise I have limited time and opportunities to if I'll to remain in the work force. Being a full-time mum, I've stronger bond with my 3 children and I am able to understand them better now. In this blog, I hope to share with my observations, experiences and emotions. I hope all of you will feel free to give me your comments. I bless all stay-at-home mums. |
