| Introduction | Since I am particularly obsessed with photography these days, I'll take this opportunity to answer a question that I am asked very often:
Q: What camera/lenses/software do I use? A: I use Canon EOS 350D which I procured in Aug'05 after a year of relentless saving. This is my first SLR. I used the 18-55mm kit lens for a while, but eventually brought the 17-40mm f/4L which happens to be the default lens on my camera these days. I also have a 50mm f/1.8 which I now occasionally use for portrait/low-light work. I use an old Vivo tripod (a hand-me-down from my uncle) with it's built-in camera mount. I hope to get one lens in the telephoto range and one macro lens besides a good tripod soon. I shoot RAW and post process using Paint Shop Pro 9. |
