| Introduction | So I go to the doctor and he tells me I have ADD. I ask him how he can tell that after just meeting me and he says he could tell since before I walked through the door. And I think to myself, isn't that odd, because I was just thinking to myself, just before I walked in, how strange it is when you get up to do something and when you get there, you forget what you were looking for. Like the time my favorite left sock vacationed behind the dryer for six and a half years, and as I shimmied the dryer back and forth to get behind it, there was a hole in the wall. And I can't be sure, but I'm pretty sure I heard some faint whispering coming from inside. I could swear they were whispering about my sock. And so anyhow, like I was saying, the doctor turns to me and tells me I have ADD. |
