| Introduction | Welcome to a new blog, "Alongside heroes." There are a couple phrases that tell why this blog has begun: "We don't know them all but we owe them all;" "I am no hero, but I did have the honor of walking beside a few." My objective is to tell the stories of our military people, many of whom we do not know. I also wanted to acquaint you with the situations in which they found themselves. Most of them were simply ordinary people. This will give you a chance to walk alongside heroes. |
