Introduction	I love food. I love making it myself, I love going out to eat, I love cooking for friends. I work in publishing and a few jobs ago I worked for a Publisher that specialised in Illustrated Non-Fiction, which included a lot of cookbooks. Working with a lot Foodies and constantly looking at the ‘Food Porn’ pictures in said cookbooks started to get my taste buds wanting different flavours. Over time I found that I was becoming more experimental in my cooking and willing to try out flavours that I had previously turned up my nose at. Flipping through my myriad cookbooks trying to decide what to cook for the week became one of my favourite things to do. Then it was onto the next thing - growing my own vegies. My family are keen gardeners, but not being a patient child, waiting for something to grow bored me. Now that I am older it seems that my gardening gene has finally been woken. Currently I have a few sad pots on my balcony with herbs in various stages of decay, but I am determined to change that. Admittedly it is a very small space, but you gotta start somewhere! The aim of this blog is simple - a place to share my cooking and gardening journey. I hope you enjoy it.
