| Introduction | Dr. Tompkins is the Founder and President of Explore Truth Ministries. Prior to establishing ETM, he served as a pastor for eight years. Before entering full time pastoral ministry, he spent 27 years climbing the corporate ladder at Caterpillar, Inc. Dr. Tompkins is a graduate of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and Southern Evangelical Seminary. He also holds degrees in Business Administration from Southeast Missouri State and Southern Illinois Universities and is a member of the International Society of Christian Apologetics. Richard and his wife Suzi have seven children and ten grandchildren with whom they enjoy spending as much time as possible. They live in Ft. Mill, SC. |
| Interests | Dr. Tompkins’ passions are preaching, teaching, and building disciples. He regularly attends leadership, evangelism, and apologetic conferences and actively benchmarks with other churches and organizations throughout the country on evangelism and spiritual growth. |
