| Introduction | Life takes us all on an amazing journey. Sometimes we are caught up in the torrent and swept along regardless; at other times we wallow in the shallows looking for some current to take us back into the stream of life. The one certainty is that the journey continues, as it has done for generations past and will do for generations to come. Ultimately we are each responsible for our own destiny, but who we are has been shaped by those who came before, whose challenges and struggles have combined to place us where we are today.
